The customer orders and pays on their own
ZP selfCheckout turns a kiosk, or a Windows touchscreen till, into a self-service ordering point. The customer browses the menu, builds their order and pays by card. They can also use a gift voucher or their loyalty discounts. Meanwhile, your team stays in the kitchen and at the counter.
A number, and the order follows
At the end, an order number appears on screen and prints on the ticket. The order goes straight to the kitchen. If you use ZP kDisplay, kCallScreen calls that number when the order is ready: the customer knows when to come and collect it.
The same catalogue as the till
The kiosk uses the ZP POS catalogue. A new menu or a changed price at the till shows up on the kiosk, with no double entry. Sales from the kiosks join those from the till, in the same journal, VAT included.
In a shop, a self-checkout till
In a grocery store, the kiosk becomes a self-checkout till: the customer scans their items and pays by card on their own. Small baskets no longer queue behind large ones.
